Chanakya's Chant by Ashwin Sanghi

This is a story of revenge; a story where a king maker is born to execute his calculated, cruel plan s of vengeance. The king maker is more powerful than the king. This is also a well researched fiction switching between two time frames, the USP of the Author. The lessons by “Chanakya” were very informative. Recreating Chanakya in the modern times is definitely to be applauded. Yet the modern timeline story fails to impress much. It is a political thriller; entertaining of course. When you finish this book you tend to wonder is this the reality; can human beings stoop down this low to reach their cruel, cunning goal of vengeance? This disbelief in your in your mind leaves you disgusting. Yet to understand the dynamics of this society this book needs to be read. Rating 3/5
