BLINK : The Power of thinking without thinking by Malcolm Gladwell

People today apply rational thinking for every issue. Decision making even for the smallest issue becomes complex by our rational analysis. Malcolm Gladwell has rightly pointed out throughout this book that “there can be as much value in the Blink of an eye as in months of rational analysis.” Indian believes in intuition but this has also changed. “We live in a world that assumes that the quality of a decision is directly related to the time and effort that went into making it ……gathering as much information ….depending on as much time as possible in deliberation.”; this has become the norm. After reading this book, of course, it requires patience to read, we are sure to consider and add value to split decisions and snap judgments in a Blink of an eye. The stories, case studies and arguments points out that our mind is capable of figuring things, people etc., in a split second. I recommend everyone to read this book especially all decision makers.
