Homo
sapiens (in Latin means wise man) have to learn lessons of team relationship
from the tiny social insects belonging to the family of “Formicidae.”
This
insect has lots to teach us.
There
are about 22000 of this species in this earth, forming colonies.
The
castes are “workers”, and “soldiers”. There are also team leaders called,
“queens”.
They
are super organisms, united, collectively working tirelessly to support their
colony.
They
follow Adams Smith philosophy of “division of labor”, with explicit “duties” to
perform.
They
use pheromones to communicate for food and while encountering danger.
Try
changing its course it is swift in adapting and forming a new “assembly line”.
These
insect applies interactive teaching methods within their colony and navigate by
the shortest route to their destination. They are cooperative and competitive
also.
Functioning in a well organized structure they
are selflessly united.
They
never leave any work undone.
They
selflessly share their find and practice amazing discipline and order.
They
foresee their future needs and plan.
They
tirelessly work all day and are persistent to accomplish their tasks.
These
tiny organisms teach us lessons of trust, unity amidst diversity, diligence,
focus,
adaptability and perseverance.
These
insects show us the path to achieve excellence.
Their
existence just states, “Together Everyone Achieves More”.
