TRUST
The most predominant trait of an individual is Trust. Building trust is difficult and sustaining this even more difficult. Trust is to be build among individuals who may be or may not be blood relations. Hence forth the task is even more difficult as we will have to tide against jealous counter parts. But it is worth the effort and it is the only character that helps you to sustain amidst turbulence. Trust is earned by your action, words and deeds. It makes the individual predictable. A person cannot afford to be temperamental and inconsistent. Trust builds lasting relationships. It wins true friends. How do we build trust? Not easy and there is no formula, but a few tips can be shared:
• View every individual as a clean slate;
• Do not assume other persons nature; or form judgments about others characters;
• A person you are interacting with can be innocent, dishonest,
cruel and also back stabber but build trust any way;
• Remember to see into the eyes of the individual and talk straight.
Let their be clarity, be concise, transparent and honest
demonstrating integrity in all your actions;

• Respect and be courteous, be kind and be empathetic to all the employees alike.
• If you choose to say something just say the truth, do not withhold relevant information.
• Humility is a trait to be followed; own up mistakes do not cover up,
do what is right not what suits you;
• Stop cribbing, be loyal; address issues do not attack individuals;
• Avoid excuses for non performance; be consistent in your performance;
• Set realistic goals and face tough situation courageously;
• Negotiate and ensure that your work expectation are through;
• Take responsibility and be accountable; discuss others shortfalls with them
not behind their back;
• Listen to others view point with heart and ears;
• Have intentions to uphold honour; build confidence;
Extend your trust to all; build it by your small action.
It is build by YOU and not by others for you;
Miscreants may create distrust; but trust never fails, it is the lasting trait.
In a networked world, trust is the most important currency (Eric Schmidt, 2009)
Trust is the timeless formula for success.
well said mam... but my question is how to trust or build trust , when the first letter "T" implicating the very truth gets lost and the word trust becomes a "rust" ???
