Happiness is a state of well being ranging from contentment to intense joy. It is different for every person. For one it is watching a movie, for another it is listening to songs, for one it is getting drenched in rain, for a child getting a chocolate may give happiness, for another sitting idle may give happiness, for some giving and sharing is happiness. But all are united in the pursuit of happiness that is intangible, impermanent and elusive. It is a state which every one wishes to have. It is a joyful moment which cannot be bought with money, but if money is available to satisfy desires then happiness is the result. It is thinking and doing harmony. It is a blessed feeling. Happy people perceive people as safe. Happy people are confident, cooperative and live a healthy life. Happiness feels good and does well.
Immanel Kant, a German Philosopher observes, "the concept of happiness is such an indeterminate one that even though every one wishes to attain happiness, yet he can never say definitely and consistently what it is that he really wishes and will..." Sigmund Freud claims that happiness is "essentially subjective". American Declaration of Independence lists happiness as an "unalienable right". Researchers say that genes control half the personality trait that makes a person happy.
Happiness is nowhere, it is now here. It is an inner feeling with the power to heal. Mis-perception create unhappiness. It is like fragrance benefiting self and others. It is contagious and unconditional. In our pursuit of happiness we miss happiness in the present. It is not the things that give happiness, it is you. Everything in the world encourages you to be happy. Happiness is your decision. Circumstances give you momentary happiness, But attitude gives eternal happiness. Happiness is beauty. Decide to look beyond imperfections to be happy. It is a direction and goal. If you cannot have it at least offer it to others. A person who is unhappy is called a breathing corpse. It is a conscious choice. Social, active and hardworking people tend to be happier. Hasya yoga helps traumatic persons. Happiness is the core of our being. Happiness is lost when a person is agitated by desire and fear. A balance of professional and personal life bring happiness. Mind, body and spirit must vibrate in unison to remain happy.
When worry worries you remember this will also pass away.
